Motion Detector  PIR (Passive IR)

What activates your alarm system when you're not at home? Breaches detected by the Motion Sensors (PIR's- Passive Infra Red) which are connected to your alarm control panel issue a signal and activate the alarm. The quality and type of PIR's used in your home security system can be crucial.
With numerous types of sensors available in the marketplace, it is important to consider the following points when outlining your requirements and purchasing a home security alarm system.

  1. Motion detectors should be of high quality to reduce the possibility of activating a false alarm. Do not base your decision on the price of the system alone.
  2. Garages should be included in the alarm's surveillance region.
  3. We recommend dual detectors at a minimum.
